COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
CST provides a rehabilitation intensive, short-term community based service to adults living with mental health and substance abuse challenges. CST operates using a team approach that focuses on supporting participants in becoming self-sufficient, reducing the lived experience of mental health, symptoms, managing triggers/cravings, and providing overall improvement in various life domains. CST utilizes an array of evidence-based, best practice approaches within the philosophies and values of recovery. Services are participant-driven and guided by the participant’s identified goals for their recovery.
There’s an emphasis of supporting participants in learning ways to navigate independently in the community, strengthening and rebuilding relationships with natural supports, embracing and promoting the spiritual values of each participants while re-establishing a meaningful life. Services focus on getting each participant engaged and active in their recovery by focusing on their hopes, dreams, and goals. CST utilizes a wrap-around approach that works collaboratively with other providers, and others that the participant has identified as part of their care and their lives.
